| RENEXPO® 2007 from the 27th to the 30th of September 2007 in Augsburg |
Already in its eight year the Augsburg Trade Fair RENEXPO® presents a comprehensive overview of the wide spectrum of renewable energies and energy efficiency in the building industry. The standard presentations from previous years will also of course still feature which include the IHE®
WoodEnergy, Germany’s leading specialised trade fair for the production of energy from wood and the reCONSTRUCT®, which focuses on energy efficient building and renovation. With the addition of the PV-EXPO® there is, for the first time, a trade fair hall dedicated solely to photovoltaic.
Augsburg has already made a name for itself in the regenerative energy field. Since the year 2000 representatives from business, politicians, and research have met at the Augsburg trade fair in order to inform themselves about the newest technologies in the area of renewable energies and energy efficiency. From 27th to 30th of September approximately 350 exhibitors from over a dozen countries will present their products and latest developments to the trade fair visitors.
Unique in Germany is the range of topics that will be covered at the conference taking place parallel to this trade fair. Famous speakers from politics, economics and associations will present at 16 conferences concerning such themes as biogas feed-in, Stirling-Motors, Wood Carburators, Cogeneration, Heat Pumps and total energy efficiency in buildings. One of the main highlights is the “7th International Conference on Wood Energy” Germany’s leading conference on the production of energy from wood presented in partnership with the „BBE Bundesverband BioEnergie e.V.“ (Federal German Association for Bioenergy).
A special focus for 2007 in Augsburg is to be found in the solar energy sector: the two successful conferences “4th National Conference on Photovoltaic Power Plants” and the “2nd Conference for Solar Heating” will both take place this year in Augsburg. The conferences take place alongside the “PV-EXPO® “.
In addition to the trade fair and conference the visitors will be offered an extra program: the free exhibitor’s forum presents on each of the four days talks about the latest products and services. Series of lectures such as “Energy Efficient Old Building Renovation!” and “Solar and Pellets” will prove information from the practise.
The RENEXPO® will be examined again this year by the FKM (Examination Board which surveys and rates trade fairs and conferences in Germany) and included in the AUMA list of German top rated Trade Fairs (German Exhibition and Trade Fair Committee). The exhibition is also part of the EU-Campaign "Sustainable Energy Europe 2005 - 2008" for the second time this year.
The trade fair is open daily from 9.00 a.m. till 6.00 p.m. and on Sunday till 5.00 p.m. The entrance fee on Thursday and Friday is € 15 and on Saturday and Sunday entrance fee € 8. There is also a reduced price for students of € 8.
